Hannah Schmidli and the Someones (Roddy Read songwriting winner) – For Hannah, playing at Maldon is like a homecoming having grown up attending, performing and being influenced by this great festival. Thanks to winning Maldon’s Roddy Read Memorial Songwriters Award last year, Hannah is back performing and launching her newest release with her band “The Someones”. Hannah is a dynamic songwriter who displays a writing maturity beyond her age. Her performances are engaging and thoroughly entertaining. She has the rare ability to be able to connect with audience members young or old and take them with her as she weaves images with her lyrics, stories and music.
